![]() LA PALABRA MUSICAL/THE MUSIC OF THE WORD is the East Bay’s longest running Multi-Lingual Poetry Reading & still going strong promoting the beauty of all our cultures, languages & diversity. We’ve featured Writers in Spanish/English, Cantonese/English, Tagalog/English, Yoruba/English, Farsi/English, 2 different Native American languages/English, Arabic, German, Ladino, Quechua, Haitian Creole, , etc. from international Poets & Storytellers & more. Many times we have Musicians & we always have 2 to 4 Features & 10 Open Mic readers & our Features have ranged from 10 Years Old to 92 years Young. The only requirement is excellence!!!
