Beast Crawl at Oakstop Ribbon Cutting Oakstop, a community hub and resource center for Black entrepreneurs and artists in Oakland, recently purchased its own building at 1721 Broadway. The Beast Crawl Literary Festival was proud to be there at the ribbon cutting ceremony on May 19th. The Beast Crawl Literary Festival is a community-based event that celebrates the written word and the power of storytelling. The festival features readings, performances, and presentations by local and national writers. Oakstop is a vital part of the Oakland community. The organization provides space for Black entrepreneurs to launch and grow their businesses, and it offers a variety of programs and resources for Black artists. The Beast Crawl Literary Festival is committed to supporting Black-owned businesses and organizations.
